“Sitting in traffic is my favorite thing,” said nobody, ever.
Yesterday, I spent six hours mostly sitting down, with the majority of that in my car, stuck in traffic. Despite applying all the “yogic driving” techniques I know, such as sitting upright, engaging my core, relaxing my shoulders, descending my femurs, softening my jaw and keeping my neck tension-free. I still felt a bit icky.
These yoga stretches will help release tension and stress and are simple enough to be done while seated, at your desk. This 2min 45 second sequence concludes with a Qi Gong energy clearing to help you let go of your day and in the words of Ram Das, be here now.
Enjoy, and Let me know whatcha think! And if you don’t know how to sit upright, engage your core, and do all of the little things that help mitigate stress while you are actively driving, check out this little “how to” tutorial.
Much Love,
